Calculates aircraft noise Sound Exposure Level (SEL) and single-event noise impact from measured time history. SEL is a time-integrated noise measure normalised to 1 second — a 10 dB increase in SEL represents 10× more acoustic energy; ICAO annex 16 uses SEL for aircraft certification noise limits.
