Calculates dissolved oxygen deficit in a water body from BOD deoxygenation rate and reaeration rate, giving the oxygen sag curve position and DO at any time. The deoxygenation rate k₁ ≈ 0.1–0.4 day⁻¹ at 20 °C for municipal wastewater — temperature corrections use θ = 1.047.
