Calculates the Streeter-Phelps dissolved oxygen sag curve from BOD, reaeration, and initial DO deficit. The critical point (minimum DO) occurs when deoxygenation rate equals reaeration rate — in unpolluted rivers the critical DO should remain above 4 mg/L to support most fish.
