Calculates DNA melting temperature (Tm) from GC content and sequence length using the Wallace rule and nearest-neighbour thermodynamics. Wallace rule: Tm = 4(G+C) + 2(A+T) °C for short oligos in 1 M NaCl — Tm rises ~0.4 °C per 1% increase in GC content for long duplexes.
