sci.NMR-chemical-shift-ppm Calculator
Calculates NMR chemical shift δ (ppm) = (ν_sample − ν_ref)/ν_spectrometer × 10⁶ and converts between ppm and Hz at different field strengths. At 400 MHz ¹H NMR, 1 ppm = 400 Hz — TMS (δ = 0 ppm) is the universal reference for ¹H and ¹³C chemical shifts.
Inputs
V Sample Hz
Cycles per second (Hz). Audible sound: 20 Hz – 20 kHz. Make sure units match what the formula expects.
V Ref Hz
Cycles per second (Hz). Audible sound: 20 Hz – 20 kHz. Make sure units match what the formula expects.
V0 Mhz
Cycles per second (Hz). Audible sound: 20 Hz – 20 kHz. Make sure units match what the formula expects.
