Calculates protein isoelectric point (pI) from amino acid composition by finding pH where net charge = 0 using Henderson-Hasselbalch for each ionisable group. At pI, protein has zero net charge and minimum solubility — isoelectric precipitation is used to isolate casein from milk (pI ≈ 4.6).
