sci.psychrometric-wet-bulb-Sprung Calculator
Calculates wet-bulb temperature from dry-bulb temperature and relative humidity using the Sprung psychrometer equation: Tw = T − A × P × (T − Tw)/P_ws(Tw). Wet-bulb temperature is the thermodynamic wet-bulb for saturated air only — it equals the dew point at 100% RH and the dry-bulb at 0% RH.
Inputs
T Dry C
Thermal state of the substance. Check whether the formula needs Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin (K = °C + 273.15).
T Wet C
Thermal state of the substance. Check whether the formula needs Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin (K = °C + 273.15).
P Kpa
Force per unit area (Pa). Atmospheric pressure at sea level: 101,325 Pa. Check whether gauge or absolute pressure is required.
Results
humidity ratio W (kg/kg)
The proportional relationship between two quantities.
