sci.transfer-function-bode-gain-phase Calculator
Calculates Bode plot gain and phase response from transfer function poles and zeros: |G(jω)| and ∠G(jω) across frequency range. Each pole at ω_p adds −20 dB/decade slope and −45°/decade phase starting at ω_p/10 — a second-order resonance adds −40 dB/decade and −90° phase at natural frequency.
Inputs
K Gain
Reference formula or conversion factor shown for context.
Omega N Rad S
Cycles per second (Hz). Audible sound: 20 Hz – 20 kHz. Make sure units match what the formula expects.
Zeta
Reference formula or conversion factor shown for context.
Omega Eval
Cycles per second (Hz). Audible sound: 20 Hz – 20 kHz. Make sure units match what the formula expects.
Results
magnitude |G(jω)| (dB)
Sample size or count used in the calculation.
phase angle ∠G(jω) (°)
The current phase of the cycle or process.
magnitude (linear)
Sample size or count used in the calculation.
frequency ratio ω/ωn
The proportional relationship between two quantities.
G(s) = K·ωn²/(s²+2ζωn·s+ωn²)
Sample size or count used in the calculation.
