sci.van-t-Hoff-temperature-K Calculator
Calculates equilibrium constant temperature dependence using the van't Hoff equation: d(ln K)/d(1/T) = −ΔH°/R, and K at any temperature from K at reference temperature. Exothermic reactions (ΔH < 0): K decreases with temperature — the Haber ammonia process uses low temperature (for K) and catalyst (for rate) as a compromise.
Inputs
K1
Reference formula or conversion factor shown for context.
T1 K
Thermal state of the substance. Check whether the formula needs Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin (K = °C + 273.15).
T2 K
Thermal state of the substance. Check whether the formula needs Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin (K = °C + 273.15).
