sport.training-load-atl-ctl Calculator
Tracks fitness and fatigue by computing Acute Training Load (ATL, 7-day rolling average) and Chronic Training Load (CTL, 42-day rolling average), and plots Training Stress Balance (TSB = CTL – ATL). A positive TSB means the athlete is fresh; negative means they're in productive overload.
Inputs
Daily Tss
Internal force per unit area (Pa or MPa). Must stay below yield strength in service.
Ctl Yesterday
Applied force or weight (N or kN). Divide into dead load (permanent) and live load (variable — people, wind, etc.).
Atl Yesterday
Applied force or weight (N or kN). Divide into dead load (permanent) and live load (variable — people, wind, etc.).
Ctl Constant
Duration of the process. Make sure units match the rate inputs (seconds, minutes, or hours).
Atl Constant
Duration of the process. Make sure units match the rate inputs (seconds, minutes, or hours).
Results
CTL fitness today
Sample size or count used in the calculation.
ATL fatigue today
The value at the specified point or condition.
TSB form (yesterday)
The specific form or variant of the result.
form interpretation
Qualitative summary of what the computed numbers mean in practical terms.
